在英語中，為使表達(dá)簡潔，常用代詞指代句中出現(xiàn)過的名詞。這個代詞要和指代對象在人稱和數(shù)方面保持一致。如出現(xiàn)Mary，則代詞只能是she（主格）或her（賓格）。如指代對象是students，則代詞只能是they（主格）或them（賓格）。當(dāng)然，這只是代詞指代的基本常識。

中文意思是：在美國，新古典運(yùn)動在建筑上的反映要比在音樂或文學(xué)上的反映更明顯。
