詞匯教學(xué)不僅僅要讓學(xué)生掌握語音、語義及其在文中的用法，還要讓學(xué)生知道其正確的搭配關(guān)系和形式以及詞的語法特征，更要讓學(xué)生掌握詞的各種規(guī)則，如構(gòu)詞規(guī)則、使用規(guī)則，甚至要讓學(xué)生掌握在詞背后的文化內(nèi)涵，以期達(dá)到讓學(xué)生掌握詞匯、使用詞匯并會(huì)據(jù)此自我學(xué)習(xí)、自我擴(kuò)充詞匯的目的。因此在英語教學(xué)過程中如何有效地進(jìn)行詞匯教學(xué)，從而培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的思維能力，使學(xué)生主動(dòng)、自覺地記單詞，是我們每個(gè)教師應(yīng)該不斷認(rèn)真思考的一個(gè)問題。根據(jù)我多年的英語教學(xué)實(shí)踐，結(jié)合實(shí)際教學(xué)中出現(xiàn)的問題，我想談?wù)剬τ⒄Z教學(xué)中詞匯教學(xué)的一些思考和嘗試。

一、詞匯教學(xué)的重要性

【例】I got a rubin at the atm yesterday. [University of Florida, Gainesville, FL]

【記】分拆聯(lián)想：j＋elly（看作belly，胃）→果凍吃多了會(huì)胃脹→果凍

【參】cyclone（n. 暴風(fēng)，龍卷風(fēng)）；typhoon（n. 臺(tái)風(fēng)）

【記】詞根記憶：al（加強(qiáng)）＋lev（輕）＋iate（使…）→使…輕→減輕，緩和

【記】詞根記憶：de＋term（邊界）＋ine→確定各自的邊界→確定
