Relate to 也可以用來表達(dá)“溝通上有共識”。若是“代溝”（generation gap），或是觀念不同而溝通上的，你就可以用上下面的這句話。

A：I have trouble relating to Carol. 我跟卡羅溝通很難。

B：Maybe it’s because she’s 30 years older than you.

或許這是她比你年長三十歲。

162. On a moment’s notice 臨時通知

Notice是“通知，注意”的意思，on a moment’s notice指“到了最后一刻，才臨時來的通知”。通常醫(yī)生是最容易被臨時通知出診的行業(yè)了。

在SAT有關(guān)比較的試題中，作比較的兩部分一定要具有可比性。這是以漢語為母語的學(xué)生的一個難點(diǎn)。在表達(dá)比較時，漢語經(jīng)常使用省略形式，但在SAT看來，這種省略就使比較對象之間缺乏可比性。
